When it comes to beauty, it often feels as if we’re on a constant quest for perfection.

Even perfection has its flaws.

Capsule Collection II emphasizes not only diverse skin tones, but also the acceptance, and celebration of one's skin tone.

Portraying the beauty of all types of skin tones is versatile, and we should see the beauty within ourselves and in others.

Design & Work process
For the Capsule Collection II, screen printing is a perfect example to show the versatile design process of artistrybeing. As previously seen in Sub-collection: Upcycling Project, the design process was based on cutting and sewing. Capsule Collection II takes an extra step in redefining screen printing. In the making of the design for the Capsule Collection II, the mixture of several color pigments was to obtain ten colors (skin tones), which were created specifically for Capsule Collection II. Experimenting with colors was also a huge part of Capsule Collection II.
